NFC NORTH

Vikings (14-2) - NFC North Champs - Lost in Conference Finals
Impact Player:WR Aaron Gooden and WR Troy Williamson
Top Newcomer:QB Drew Bledsoe
Biggest Loss:FB Tony Richardson, FS Dwight Smith, MLB Napoleon Harris
Top Draft Pick:1.16 CB Josh Smith and 1.30 WR Perry Blackmon

Coach Kobe's Rookie Season in MEGA turned in the Best performance since a guy named SharkCav won MEGA Bowl in Season 2. Kobe took home Coach of the Year Honors, and led his Vikings to a Final 4 appearance. The Vikings were able to dethrone the reining MB Champ Coach BRUCE80 in the Conference Semifinals, before bowing out to the eventual Champion Buccaneers. WRs Troy Williamson and Aaron Gooden teamed with QB Brad Johnson and smoked DBs all over the league. And there is no reason why 1st round pick Perry Blackmon won't complete the Triple Threat. On Defense the Corners are solid, and the only weakness that may be exposed is right up the middle through the MLB Sergio Ricker, and FS Greg Blue. But you'll have to pierce the D Line to get to them. Look to see the "NEW Toughest Division in MEGA" Continue to hold that Title, and Kobe to return to the Playoffs.

Bears (11-5) - AFC Wildcard - Lost in Wildcard Round
Impact Player:DT Tommie Harris and DE Adewale Ogunleye
Top Newcomer:None
Biggest Loss:QB Rex Grossman, FS Chris Harris
Top Draft Pick:1.6 QB Darius Smith

Longtime coach of the Bears, Coach Scar, had a below Average Season. 11 wins, and no playoff win. Their 6 losses were put on the shoulders of QB Rex Grossman in the Local Media, and that put enough pressure on Bears Management to Trade his ass. The Bears now look to their 1st round selection, and Heisman Trophy Winner, QB Darius Smith to lead the charge for Season 13. As always the Monsters of the Midway lead by there fearless Leader MLB Brian Urlacher will be a force in the NFC.

Packers (10-5-1) - AFC Wildcard - Lost in Wildcard Round
Impact Player:RB Ahman Green
Top Newcomer:CB Anthony Henry
Biggest Loss:WR Koren Robinson
Top Draft Pick:1.23 HB DeShawn Harris

"Oh where, Oh where has Brett Fav-re Gone.....Oh Where Oh Where can he Beeeeeee...." For the 1st time in MEGA History, Coach Fachim will have to navigate a season without the services of Brett Favre. The running of HB Ahman Green should make life easier on QB Aaron Rodgers, BUT THOSE are some pretty big shoes to fill. Especially when there is one less target as WR Koren Robinson has "cut the cheese". The Defense is going to have to step up big, if the offense is to have any success. This team, truly needs to play like one.

Lions (5-11)
Impact Player:RB Kevin Jones
Top Newcomer:RE Jason Babin
Biggest Loss:DT Shaun Rogers, MLB Bo Henderson
Top Draft Pick:1.12 WR Bubba Lane and 1.31 WR Pete Fraser

The 5-11 Lions are lookin' for a 10-4 Good Buddy. But 10-6 will do. Coach Gary is a longtime MEGA Owner, and knows how this division works. And it's all uphill for the Lions. HB Kevin Jones (From Cardinal O'Hara High School - Styk's Wife's Alma Matter) is the Life, and Blood of the Offense. QB Billy Volek has been brought in to captain the ship, and WR Roy Williams is one of MEGA's Best. The Defensive Secondary is Tough, but they may be playing a lot of one on one, as the front seven isn't anything to fear.

NFC EAST

Redskins (11-5)- NFC East Champs - Lost in Conference Semifinals
Impact Player:RB Clinton Portis
Top Newcomer:None
Biggest Loss:HB Ladell Betts
Top Draft Pick:1.27 DT Tony Manning

Coach Kan and his Skins had a respectable season, winning the NFC East and a Playoff Game. The Skins are looking to take the next step in Season 13. HB Clinton Portis is obviously the focus on Offense, but don't count out QB Jason Campbell and his plethora of Receiving Targets, TE Cooley, and WRs Moss and Randle El. The Secondary on Defense could be one of the most Hard Hitting in MEGA, and with Injuries on...don't leave your WR hanging out to dry with these guys stalking around. Expect Kan to be in the thick of it come the end of the season.

Giants (10-6)
Impact Player:RB Tiki Barber
Top Newcomer:WR Jerry Porter, DE Gilbert Gardener, RB Dominic Rhodes
Biggest Loss:OLB Carlos Emmons, RB Brandon Jacobs
Top Draft Pick:1.20 ROLB Bryan Potts

Coach I-Rod and the G-Men had what could be considered a successful Season 12. Finishing in 2nd place, there were in the playoff hunt until the last day of the season. HB Tiki Barber is NOT retiring in MEGA, just yet, and looks to keep chugging along. QB Eli Manning now had another BIG Target to compliment WR Plaxico Burress. The Giants now sport Jerry Porter on the other side. With TE Jeremy Shockey in the middle, this Offense is destined to run it up on a few teams this season. The defense is led by DE Michael Strahan, and OLB LaVar Arrington (another Penn Stater). The only soft spot in this defense could be the secondary. Look for the G-Men to compete again this season for a playoff spot.

Cowboys (9-7)
Impact Player:OLB Demarcus Ware
Top Newcomer:CB Samari Rolle, HB Fred Taylor, CB Phil Buchanon, WR Koren Robinson
Biggest Loss:WR Terrell Owens, CB Anthony Henry, DT Randy Starks
Top Draft Pick:1.13 QB Josh Rogers

What Happened to the Cowboys? That's the question everyone asked this past season. Coach GT had a very up and down season. OLB DeMarcus Ware let it be known to MEGA that he's here to stay, and Coach GT let TO know it was time to go. Making a slew of Off-season moves to improve certain positions, Coach GT has Re-Vamped the look of the entire team. If you thought The Cowboys were on the down slide...think again. This team is on its way back up to the top.

Eagles (5-11)
Impact Player:WR Donte Stallworth
Top Newcomer:RT Kwame Harris
Biggest Loss:RT John Runyan
Top Draft Pick:1.9 MLB Terrence Wallace and 1.24 CB Terrell Nash

Hey Look Everyone!!!! Arty won a few!!! WR Donte Stallworth was just what McNabb needed, and HB Brian Westbrook looks for another 1000 yard season. The Defense is anchored by All-World FS Brian Dawkins, MLB Jeremiah "Family" Trotter, and DE "The Freak" Javon Kearse. Can the Eagles win more than a few in Season 13...

NFC SOUTH

Buccaneers (14-2) - NFC South Champs - NFC Champs - MEGA Bowl Champs
Impact Player:DE Simeon Rice and WR Lance Elway
Top Newcomer:DT Tommy Kelly, OLB Daryl Smith
Biggest Loss:DT Booger McFarland, FB Jerald Sowell
Top Draft Pick:1.32 CB Rory Bowen

MB Champ. WR Lance Elway. DE Simeon Rice. QB Will Wallace...you can go on and on, but Coach Mags served notice to the League he's back, and he's Baaaaad. The Offense is electric, the Defense is stout. Some players were lost, and they were immediately replaced with guys who should be just as good. You want a weakness for this team? Try pulling the network cable out of the wall, and hope for a sim win. Guess who will be winning the NFC South this season....?

Falcons (7-9)
Impact Player:LB Ed Hartwell and WR James Richart
Top Newcomer:None
Biggest Loss:WR Roddy White
Top Draft Pick:1.7 HB Rod Dorsey and 1.14 TE Craig Shaw

If Coach Lucky learned how to draft, we'd be starting the season already. Michael Vick is Back, as is HB Warrick Dunn. WR James Richart has a stellar season, and looks towards improving. If the O Line can hold up, these guys are gonna score some points. LB Ed Hartwell leads a Falcon Defense that is Very Strong in the Front 4. However the Secondary is a tad suspect. If the Bucs are going to get a challenge, expect it to come from former MEGA Bowl Champ, Coach Lucky and the Falcons.

Saints (5-11)
Impact Player:RB Reggie Bush and RB Deuce McAllister
Top Newcomer:WR Derrick Mason
Biggest Loss:None
Top Draft Pick:1.8 DT Cameron Sanders

Coach Brad and the Saints didn't have a great season. But they did find out something. HB Reggie Bush is for REAL. With Bush and HB Duce McAllister the Saints Running Game flourished. But Drew Brees' 35 INTs are something that are going to have to be cut down on if the Saints are going to win more than they lose. The Defense is mediocre at best. Hopefully 1st Round Pick DT Cameron Sanders can help.

Panthers (2-14)
Impact Player:LB Dan Morgan
Top Newcomer:None
Biggest Loss:None
Top Draft Pick:1.2 WR Deon Wilkerson

Coach Styk. Loser. 'Nuff said. No Trades. No Free Agent Pickups. Offense is TERRIBLE. Defense is too damn tired. When's this Coach getting fired.

NFC WEST

Rams (13-2-1) - NFC West Champs - Lost in Conference Semifinals
Impact Player:DE Leonard Little
Top Newcomer:None
Biggest Loss:SS Corey Chavous
Top Draft Pick:1.11 CB Dorin McDaniels and 1.25 DT Nate Campbell

Coach BRUCE80 defended his MEGA Bowl 11 Title valiantly, but fell short in the Season 12 playoffs. With 2 1st round picks used on defensive players, look for the Rams to get stronger. The Front Seven are pretty Buff, but there could be a weakness in the Brokeback Scheme of the DBs. QB Marc Bulger, HB Steven Jackson, and WRs Torry Holt and ISSAC80 look to keep ramming the ball. Expect to see the Rams back in the hunt for a MEGA Bowl once again.

Cardinals (7-9)
Impact Player:RB Edgerrin James
Top Newcomer:FS Dwight Smith, LB Derek Smith, LB Napoleon Harris
Biggest Loss:DE Chike Okeafor
Top Draft Pick:2.16 LE Darrien Middleton

The Cards and Coach BamBam are another team that made a lot of off-season moves. Looking to crack the .500 barrier, HB Edggerin James and QB Matt Schaub look to give the O a nice 1 - 2 punch. On Defense Arizona could use some help up front, but look to have a solid pass defense.

Seahawks (4-12)
Impact Player:LB Julian Peterson
Top Newcomer:None
Biggest Loss:None
Top Draft Pick:1.5 TE Jimmy Burt

Is this guy still in MEGA? Coach Tiger and the Seahawks had a very quiet off-season. With a very down season 12, QB Matt Hasselback, and HB Shawn Alexander are going to try to get back to form. While on Defense, lead by LB Julian Peterson the Hawks are solid all around.

49ers (3-13)
Impact Player:RB Jermaine Winfield
Top Newcomer:LG Jeno James, RT Jon Runyan, DE Chike Okeafor
Biggest Loss:MLB Derek Smith, WR Antonio Bryant
Top Draft Pick:1.4 QB Chris Welty

Cherokee is back, and well... that means he’s back. Despite a rough year, he did find some star power in Jermaine Winfield. On the flip side, it was rumored that he took his QB out back and shot him, Ol’ Yeller style. In comes top draft pick Chris Welty and some beef on the OL to help him. Will he be enough to win a few more games?
