NFC EAST

Redskins (6-2)(4-0) - Kan has a big lead on his division right now so his sights are set on the postseason. Portis and Duckett are a nice backfield combo. There are still a few tough games remaining, but this division looks to be his.
Stud:Portis is great, but LB Lemar Marshall is the team MVP.
Dud:The passing game needs some work outside of Santana Moss. It is balanced though...
Big games remaining - Buccaneers, Rams, Dolphins

Giants (2-6)(0-3) - Irod was hoping for a better start, but it wasn't in the cards. The team scored a good win over Miami, but it's been a rough patch since. The second half of the year isn't terrible, but the Giants hoped for more.
Stud:Osi Umenyiora is having a nice season so far
Dud:The offense has been atrocious, starting at the top with Eli Manning.
Big games remaining - Packers, Jets, Vikings

Eagles (3-6)(1-1) - The Eagles started hot out of the gate, but fell victim to a very tough schedule. Coach Arty will benefit from a bit lighter second half, including the always bitter rivalry game with Carolina.
Stud:Westbrook and Stallworth are good, but Jevon Kearse has brought the Freak back!
Dud:McNabb has been up and down and the talk of a lot of trade rumors.
Big games remaining - Panthers

Cowboys (3-5)(1-1) -Things looked to be turning around with a 3 game win streak and a bit of controversy, but a 29-3 pasting by the Jets set the team back. GT is trying to figure out his young QB.
Stud:Drew Carter is better than TO was last season. Terance Newman is also hot.
Dud:QB Josh Rogers has caused more harm (20 INTs) than good (5 TDs)
Big games remaining - Packers, Dolphins, Redskins, Bears

NFC NORTH

Vikings (4-4)(1-1) - The Vikes were undefeated at this point last year, but have fallen to the middle of the pack with a brutal schedule. They'll need to step up if they want to get a wild card.
Stud:Fred Smoot is having a good year, as are the WR corps
Dud:QB Tavaris Jackson makes Kobe long to have Brad Johnson back
Big games remaining - Bears(x2), Buccaneers, Packers

Bears (6-2)(0-0) - Coach Scar has Super Bowl on his mind... but does he have MEGA Bowl in there as well?
Stud:Benson, Urlacher are good
Dud:Darius Smith should be playing better than this
Big games remaining - Packers(x2), Broncos, Vikings

Packers (8-0)(2-0) - The biggest surprise in all of MEGA is the undefeated Packers. A big youth infusion has spurred the Pack to a great start. Two games with division rival Chicago will determine the division crown.
Stud:Super rooks Aldridge and Harris will battle for ROY honors
Dud:Can't fault an undefeated team.
Big games remaining - Bears(x2), Broncos, Vikings

Lions (0-8)(0-2) - The Lions have lost 5 of their 8 games by a TD or less. They have been competitive, just haven't been able to finish. The schedule to close out the season doesn't get any prettier
Stud:Roy Williams has been the only ray of light in Detroit
Dud:Ouch, the list isn't long enough.
Big games remaining - Bears(x2), Redskins, Packers, Raiders

NFC SOUTH

Buccaneers (8-0)(3-0) - The defending champs had a perfect first half, but several of the games were very close. There are some tough games on the horizon, and the NFC South is proving to be the best division in MEGA this year.
Stud:Cadillac Williams is on a torrid pace for MVP (1121 yards, 19 total TDs)
Dud:Michael Clayton is in danger of losing his #2 WR spot to rookie Kevin Norris.
Big games remaining - Vikings, Saints, Falcons, Redskins, Colts, Panthers

Falcons (5-3)(1-2) - Don't look now, but the Falcons seem to be finding their groove. Remember, the last time they got hot, they made a surprise run for a MEGA Bowl Crown.
Stud:The draft was very good to the Falcons this year. 5 starters, and 5th round LB John Chapman might be the best of the bunch.
Dud:James Richart, always a potent weapon, hasn't found his stride this year.
Big games remaining - Seahawks, Buccaneers, Panthers, Saints, Texans

Saints (4-5)(2-1) - How good are the Saints? They could very easily be 7-2 right now. Coach Darb has the team playing way better than their record reflects. Reggie Bush scares the bejeesus out of everyone.
Stud:A lot to choose from. Bush, Deuce, and a lot of defense.
Dud:Drew Brees needs to cut down on his INTs, but he's better than last season
Big games remaining - Buccaneers, Panthers, Falcons, Rams, Texans

Panthers (4-4)(0-3) - The Panthers could be the biggest surprise in MEGA this season. Coach Styk seems to have figured things out, and the offense has been playing better to aide the Cats big D. If things fall into place, the Panthes could finish with their best season so far.
Stud:Others have better numbers, but this team wouldn't be .500 is Jake Delhomme wasn't playing. He's really improved.
Dud:Deangelo Williams and DeShaun Foster need to improve if the team wants to keep winning.
Big games remaining - Every single one

NFC WEST

Rams (5-3)(3-0) - The Rams biggest story is the sudden leave of absence of Coach Bruce80. With the division race heating up, the Rams are suddenly in panic mode.
Stud:Steven Jackson is playing great football
Dud:Mr. Marc Bulger will be spending a lot of time with a clipboard
Big games remaining - All of them, until Bruce80 returns

Cardinals (2-6)(1-2) - With 4 of the losses coming by a TD or so, the Cards are another team that have been stung by bad finishes. BamBam knows his team is better, but may be reduced to spoiler this year.
Stud:The offense looks pretty solid, and Darrien Middleton is a nice rookie surprise
Dud:Edgerrin James seems to have lost his burst this season.
Big games remaining - Falcons, Seahawks, Bengals, Saints, Rams

49ers (1-7)(0-3) - The Niners scored their first win of the season just before the halfway point. After the lag bug plagued their first half, San Fran hopes to turn things around for the second.
Stud:Chris Welty has had a pretty good rookie season.
Dud:Coach Kee is answering E... All of the above.
Big games remaining - The schedule is brutal, but a meeting with the Lions looks promising.

Seahawks (5-3)(2-1) - Coach Val smells blood in the water. With the Rams in panic mode, the Seahawks look to be in the driver's seat for the division.
Stud:Deion Branch and Michael Boulware lead the way so far.
Dud:Jerramy Stevens has decent numbers, but he should be a lot more involved.
Big games remaining - Falcons, Rams, Buccaneers, Bengals
