Bears back on top... |
Halas Hall, Lake Forest, Il
The Bears returned to the top of the division after one year and look to claim the second seed in the NFC this season.
The Bears got huge seasons from Turner and T.E. Olsen on an offense that has struggled to pass the ball, Turner lead the league in rushing by gaining 2118 yards( second most in Bears MEGA history) and Olsen lead the league in TD catches with 20. this helped the Bears win 5 straight and clicnh the NFC North title.
The Bears defense ranked 6th overall and at times struggled but when it was said and done the big play makers had good years, Urlacher finished with 86 tackles 8 ints, Harris and Ogunleye combined for 37 sacks.
The Bears look to make a run this year in the playoffs with a return to the Mega Bowl, dont make it there and all they do if screw their draft picks.
Now the real season is about to begin and the Bears are poised to make a run and look forward to anyone that thinks they can stop the Burner Turner and their quest to win the M.B. this year. |

HESTER RUNS AWAY AGAIN!3 opening returns in 3 straight games |
The Bears D. Hester has 3 opening kickoff returns this year and its only half way through the season. he also ran 2 back against Mags and the Bucs, Hester has 5 kick off returns this season, (though not on the league site), he has those TD's with only 30 kick returns for the season, and also has a 29 yard avg per return.
He gives the Bears a short field most of the time and the Bears seem to take advantage of his returns at key times.
Can this be MVP type numbers if this continues?
how many will he end up with at seasons end?
will teams continue to kick him the ball?
this all remains to be seen, but the most dangerous returner in mega is on fire...... |

Bears GM guarantees a division title. |
after winning their last 5 games, Bears GM Scar went off in a tirade about all the "hoopla" around the new Vikings GM "kobe" and their sham of a 8-0 record.
He added since their loss to the Vikings, the Bears Offense and Defense has been dominating putting up 172 points while only giving up 63.
thats an avg of 34.4 per game while giving up only 12 points a game.
Bears a very happy to be at 6-2 and are looking forward to the Vikings game in week 13.
As he stormed off the podium he was heard yelling "wait until the ass whooping the Vikings get in Chicago then we will crown their asses..."
Urlacher was asked about what he thought.. he simply said "who are the Vikings?" |
