Browns ready for new season? |
Last season is hopefully just a horrible memory of how bad things can go.
The Browns went into the offseason trying to improve the defense a little and find a new home for QB Anderson who wanted out so bad he offered to pay coach Kee to let him go.
Offseason losses
QB Derek Anderson 91ovr traded to Seattle
RE Jorge Snider 82ovr and 2nd rd pick in 2025 draft traded to Patriots
1st rd pick in this years draft traded to the Colts
Offseason additions
LOLB Leroy Hill 90ovr aquired from Seattle
LE Robert Mathis 96ovr aquired from Indy
RE Richard Seymour 99ovr aquired from the Patriots
Draft
1st rd-traded
2nd rd-HB Tim Griffin from Michigan St 84ovr after camp
3rd rd- QB George Stuubs from Michigan 85ovr after camp
4th rd- RT Paul Martin from Texas A&M 75ovr after camp
remaining picks were not signed.
The offense looks to be in the hands of QB Brady Quinn but with Stubbs right behind him waiting for a chance to play.
HB Michael Turner will be pushed hard by the rookie HB Griffin who will see significant playing time.
On Defense there should be some improvement with the new players in town.
The fans hopes and expectations are high in Cleveland for this season,but we'll have to see if Coach Kee can keep from screwing things up again  |

Cleveland settles on starting QB for 2024 |
The QB controversey is over as the Brownies today named Brady Quinn the starter for the 2024 season.
Coach Kee said he made the decision after Quinn got playing time in the last five games of last season and he progressed nicely in the offense.
The coach was quoted saying "In all the times I've been a coach in Mega this is the FIRST TIME EVER that I've had a QB actually progress and not take a step back"
That doesn't say much for his QB coaching but it's a start,lol
There have been talks with 4 teams involving Anderson,who we assume is ready to move on,when we tried to reach him for comment at his home we got ahold of a realtor who is selling his house because Derek packed all his belongings and is currently living at the airport waiting to find out the detination he needs to buy a ticket to. |

Browns HORRIFIC SEASON finally ends!!! |
When the Browns brought Coach Kee out of retirement they were hoping for the coach that led the Niners to a 10-6 record and the playoffs....but instead they got the old coach Kee,the one that is near the all time MEGA lead for loss'es 
The Browns finished the season at a pathetic 4-12 losing 6 games by 7pts or less.
Now that the season is officially over there will be some tough decisions to make,first off a starting QB has to be named for next season and the Browns will let that decision be made by some other team.
Derek Anderson?
Brady Quinn?
One of them has to go to settle this,who will want one of them? and which one will it be? Both will be available the best offer will decide who go's and who stays to suffer thru the rest of thier career in The Dawg Pound!!! |

Quinn gets first start |
Brady Quinn got his first start of the season against the Colts,no small task for your first start of the season.
Quinn had a decent game hitting 20-36 for 315yds 1 td and 2 ints.
Quinn said after the game that he hopes to keep the starting job,but wants to get rid of those ugly ass throwback uniforms.
The QB controversey that almost always follows Coach Kee wherever he's been is now in Cleveland and the Dawg Pound is getting restless,expect a move to be made to settle this in the offseason.[/img] |

Are Andersons days numbered? |
Could QB Derek Andersons days in a Browns uniform be numbered?
Earlier in the week head coach Cherokee announced a change at QB for the remainder of the season putting Brady Quinn in the starters spot.
When asked about his demotion Anderson replied "I don't know whats going on,the coach just made the change"
When coach Cherokee was asked if this is permanent he told us to wait and see how it go's.
Anderson has stated that he doesn't think he is a backup and if he isn't starting he wants out,will he get his way? or will this be his way out? |
