Rough start for Titans |
The Titans have started a little slow with a 1-2 record. Eventhough the offense have have shown promise, the Defense has not been able to keep up. What on paper looks to be one of the most talented defenses in the league looks more like bystanders as they have looked terrible vs run and pass. Coach Dinesen expect much better from this talented bunch, and changes might be made if they dont step up. |

There's a new king in Nashville!! |
He's not the Honky Tonk Man but the new QB of the Tennessee Titans, he's Carson Palmer
In a blockbuster trade the Miami Dolphins send Carson palmer & a 3rd round draft pick in exhange for Vince Young and a 2nd rounder.
This trade has surprised many around the league, but in the end this might just be a good fit for both QB's. Palmer had a great season last year but failed in the Mega Bowl to the mighty Bucs. After the loss it was rumoured that Palmer didn't like the offensive system in Miami, and even had ill feelings towards coach I-Rod. On the flip side, Vince Young struggled in Tennessee and despite great potential had alot of trouble getting it done on the field.
Coach I-Rod had always been a Vince Young fan, and when the word got out that the Titans wanted to deal him he jumped at the chance to get him down south.
Carson Palmer is now the leader of this young Titans offense and is delighted to have the opportunity to help this franchise get back on track.
The city of Tennessee is buzzing upon the arrival of Mr. Palmer, and many believe he's the missing piece that will get this team going in the right direction.
In other Titans news the team made another deal trading for talented young CB Chris Houston, who had trouble getting playing time in Atlanta.
Houston is a very stong talented corner with great speed and agility. The Tians hope he will work his way into the starting lineup quickly, as the Titans have had their problems defending passes.
We will return at the beginning of the next season with a draft update, and a look at the teams expectations of the 2023 season. |

Young on his way out of Nashville?? |
After a disapointing season and a year where Young would hit the nightclub more often then his recievers, rumour has it that the new Titans GM has had enough. We have learned that Coach Dinesen had a meeting behind closed doors to determine how to turn this team around. One of the things that has rumored to be main focus of the talks is to find a replacement QB.
We'll follow up on this story as it develops. |

Titanic disapointment |
So far this season has been a Titanic disapointment. We started out ok at 2-2 but have lost 6 straight now. Everyone in the orginization is scratching thier head wondering what to do to get things turned around.
Coach Travis has made the decision to make sure every player that is eligable for carry over will be starters the rest of the season regardless of how good of player is ahead of them to give us time to evaluate them and decide who would best help the team as carry over. This means DE Tucker 97 ovr, CB osborne 91 and MLB Jackson 91 ovr all have been replaced. All we can work on now is to find the best men we can that we can take and go for some upset victories in the process.
At this point LE Kindle and HB Nalan are the leading canidates for carry over. WR Hall is the next highest in concideration at this point. |

Titans ready for the season to start |
Titans rookie HB Tim Nalan was verry optamitic and talking about Titans chances to win the division this year. Coach Travis answered to Nalans coments as verry far fetched. This div has been owned by Jag's and Colts. As a team our goal is a 8-8 season and to evaluate our many players that are eligible for carry over so we take the guys that will fit us best next season. A playoff birth would be nice but with our track record doesn't seam like a realistic goal.
Titans players that are being concidered for carry over are as fallows. By seasons end we should have a good feel on who would have the most impact for us in the next franchise.
#5 ovr pick in this years draft HB Tim "You can't catch me" Nalan.
#9 ovr pick in this years draft LE Floyd "QB Killer" Kindle
#13 pick this year draft MLB Lee "Hitman" Lawton
#25 ovr this years draft FS Rashard "The Hammer" Jackson
#37 ovr pick this years draft WR Mark 'Too tall" Hall
#15 ovr 2011 draft Johny "Too short" Huey
#24 in 2009 draft Tyler "the blanket" Traylor
Round 5 pick 10 2010 draft Al "The cannon" Gaffney |
